When this watch arrived it looked tired with a scratched up crystal, but the initial time-keeping results looked pretty good. This will help you to see why the numbers aren't always what they seem. If we take the timing numbers at face value this watch doesn't need to be serviced, it's running quite well. Once we dig a little deeper, however, we see the mess inside! Rust - everywhere! It was in terrible shape and in desperate need of servicing. It was completely stripped down, all parts meticulously checked for wear, new parts ordered and ready to be assembled and lubricated.
